Winter Park High School 2021 defensive back Dakota Mitchell de-committed from LSU last week on Friday and reopened up his recruitment releasing a new top-five.
His top schools included the University of Georgia along with Alabama, Florida, LSU, and Oklahoma.
Mitchell had originally committed to Bayou Bengals back on March 19th before announcing his decision to de-commit.
Since then, there has been a lot social media buzz and noise around the 6-foot-0 and 184 lbs rising senior and the Bulldogs.
As of right now, Mitchell has not set a date to make announce his final decision, but it will likely be after he is able to take some official visits to his top-schools.
He is rated a three-star prospect at safety by 247Sports and ESPN along with Rivals . You can watch Dakota Mitchell‘s most recent 2019 junior season highlights by clicking on the video below.
