The No. 3 Georgia women’s tennis team concluded its regular season at 17-1 overall and a perfect 13-0 in conference action after defeating No. 17 Texas A&M 4-0 Sunday afternoon.
 
The Bulldogs finish undefeated in SEC play for the fifth time in program history and second time defeating all current SEC teams since the league expanded in 2012.
 
In doubles, Georgia set the tone early, earning the doubles point thanks to the No. 8 duo of Katarina Jokic and Ariana Arseneault defeating No. 39 Tatiana Makarova and Jayci Goldsmith. The pairing picked up their fifth top-50 win of the season with their 6-3 win. Elena Christofi and Morgan Coppoc also defeated their opponent 6-3, taking down Renee McBryde and Dorthea Faa-Hviding on court two. Christofi moves into eighth all-time in Georgia program history for career doubles wins at 102-46 jumping Nadja Gilchrist. Meg Kowalski and Lea Ma went unfinished in their match on court three.
 
In singles, the Bulldogs controlled the narrative from the jump, taking all six first sets from the Aggies. Christofi would be first to finish her match, taking down Isa Di Laura 6-1, 6-0 on court six. No. 60 Ma was right behind her, taking down Goldsmith 6-2, 6-3 on court two. Coming down to No. 4 Jokic and No. 54 Coppoc to clinch the match, it would be Coppoc who finished it for the Dawgs with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Faa-Hviding on court four. Jokic, No. 16 Kowalski and No. 63 Gonzalez went unfinished in their matches, all in the second set.
 
Georgia will remain in Tuscaloosa for the SEC tournament with their first match as the overall No. 1 seed set for Wednesday, April 21 awaiting the results of the first two rounds and first serve set for 10 a.m. ET.
