WBB: Georgia Defeats Houston 61-47
The Georgia Lady Bulldogs defeated Houston, 61-47, on Friday evening behind a dominant performance by the starting five.

- Junior Amiya Evans notched her second-straight double-double (14 pts, 10 reb).
- Friday’s game marked the fifth overall meeting between the Lady Dogs and the Cougars. The last time the two teams met was Dec. 3, 2003, when Georgia defeated Houston 65-52.
- Georgia allowed only four points in the first quarter. It is the fewest number of points the Lady Dogs have allowed in a quarter since Nov. 11, 2023, against North Carolina A&T (6).

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga./ROME, Ga./TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Senior Thomas Paulsell advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Conference Masters Championships, three Bulldogs advanced at the ITA Sectionals, and four Georgia players won their opening round match at the UTR Sports College Circuit – GGC on Friday.

In the consolation quarterfinals, No. 28 Ryan Colby is pitted against Gianluca Carlini (Georgia Tech), and Niels Ratiu will play Javier Montoya (South Alabama). Both matches will be played at 9:00 a.m. E.T.
In the UTR Sports College Circuit – GGC, Filipe Costa will play Rafael Lopez, and Aidan Atwood will play Marcos Castellanos (North Georgia) – both round of 16 matches beginning at 10:30 a.m. E.T.
