Opening Tip Storylines
» A pair of unbeatens square off in the first round of the 2025 Fort Myers Tip-Off when Georgia meets Kansas on Friday at 7:30 p.m. inside the Suncoast Credit Union Arena.

» Georgia is 7-0 for the first time since 2002 and is looking to go 8-0 for the 12th occasion in program history and for the first time since 2020.

» The Lady Bulldogs have not started 9-0 since 2014-15, when Hall of Fame head coach Andy Landers was still leading the program.

» The Lady Bulldogs have won their first seven games by an average margin of 35 points per contest.

» Georgia’s 28-point margin of victory against Georgia Tech marked the program’s largest win over Tech since 1994 and the most points scored against its rival since 1999.

» Four or more Lady Bulldogs have scored in double figures in three-straight games, led by sophomore guard Dani Carnegie’s 18.6 ppg.

» Carnegie leads all SEC players and is second nationally with 26 total made 3-pointers this season. Carnegie’s 3.7 triples per game also leads the conference and is the fifth-best average in the country.

» Georgia is second in the SEC in scoring defense, holding opponents to 48.3 ppg. The Lady Bulldogs held their first four opponents below 50 points for the first time in school history.
