Georgia true freshman Dominick Sanders has been named to the Associated Press All-Bowl Team, according to an announcement from the organization.
Sanders, a native of Tucker, Ga., tallied two interceptions and returned those picks 42 yards in the 37-14 win over #20 Louisville. In his 13th consecutive start of the year, Sanders snagged his first interception in the second quarter and returned it 40 yards to the Cardinals’ 9-yard line. The Bulldogs kicked a field goal four plays later to give them a 20-7 edge.
Early in the third quarter, Sanders, who also had a tackle in the game, hauled in his second pick with Georgia still leading by 13 points. The 6-0, 187-pound graduate of Tucker High School finished the year with 34 tackles, three interceptions and a 54-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the win over Arkansas.
