Spring Practice Schedule – G-Day Ends It This Year

UGA announced a tentative spring practice schedule this morning. Unlike last year, the annual G-day game that Coach Smart has been promoting at every opportunity will be the last practice on the schedule.
 
 
Tuesday, March 15
Thursday, March 17
Saturday, March 19
Tuesday, March 22
Thursday, March 24 (also Coaching Clinic)
Friday, March 25 (also Coaching Clinic)
Tuesday, March 29
Thursday, March 31
Saturday, April 2
Tuesday, April 5
Thursday, April 7
Saturday, April 9
Tuesday, April 12
Thursday, April 14
Saturday, April 16 (G-Day, 4:00 p.m.)
 
 
Note that the G-Day game will have a 4 PM kickoff this year. The change is probably due to TV and the later time slot might reflect the national buzz around the hiring of Kirby Smart from Alabama.
 
 
Here is the information on the coaching clinic slated fo March 24 and 25. Bruce Arians and Frank Beamer will be the featured speakers and Jake Scott, as well as, Matthew Stafford will be in attendance.
