J.R. Reed, a cornerback from Plano TX (Pestonwood Christian), has become the latest addition to the Bulldog roster. Reid originally committed to SMU but sat out the 2014 season and enrolled at Tulsa during the 2015 season. He is a cousin of 4-star 2017 prospect Deangelo Gibbs from Loganville (Grayson), according to Rusty Mansell of 247Sports.
 
 
Reed will have to sit out the 2016 season as a transfer.
