Georgia has played 11 regular season games and that means only one more remains, but it perhaps is the one that every University of Georgia fan relishes a win in no matter what the win-loss record is. Here are some Bulldogs to watch when Georgia hosts the Yellow Jackets for some “clean old-fashioned hate” on Saturday.

JACOB EASON (QB, #10)

All things considered, Eason has had an outstanding freshman year while guiding the Bulldogs’ offensive attack. After coming off the bench and playing well behind senior starter Greyson Lambert in the Bulldogs’ opening win over North Carolina, Eason moved into the starting quarterback position for the second game against Nicholls State and hasn’t looked back. The 6-5, 235-pound Eason, who was rated the nation’s No. 1 pro-style QB while playing for Lake Stevens High in the state of Washington, has thrown for over 2,000 yards in his debut season at UGA, including a career-high 346 yards against Vanderbilt and has improved his poise with each outing in directing the Georgia offense. A big game from Eason will be needed to stave off a Yellow Jacket upset bid this Saturday.

NICK CHUBB (TB, #27)

Could Saturday’s game against the state rival Yellow Jackets be Chubb’s final outing at Sanford Stadium? If the junior tailback decides to opt early for the NFL, that of course would be the case. Regardless, the 5-10, 228-pound Chubb has enjoyed a splendid career with the Bulldogs and when he rushed for 101 yards in the recent 13-7 win over 8th-ranked Auburn, Chubb joined the exclusive 3,000-yard career rushing fraternity at UGA. Coming back from last season’s horrific knee injury at Tennessee, he set a new Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game rushing record in the Bulldogs’ season-opening win over North Carolina when he ran for 222 yards and also went over the 100-mark in the win at South Carolina when he churned for 121 yards. Chubb’s performance will be key for the Georgia offense Saturday, so that the Bulldogs can control the football and thereby keep Tech’s dangerous offense on the sidelines.

CHUKS AMAECHI (OLB, #41)

Amaechi, a 6-3, 250-pound junior college transfer from Arizona Western College, has played in every game this fall in his senior year with the Bulldogs. Filling in at the outside linebacker spot for starters Davin Bellamy and Lorenzo Carter, Amaechi posted a career-high five tackles in the down-to-the-wire win at Missouri and his steady play has given the Bulldogs good depth at the position. Amaechi will be looking to close out his UGA career with an outstanding performance against Tech Saturday and also in the Bulldogs’ bowl game.

DYSHON SIMS (OG, # 55)

Sims is another Bulldog who has seen action in all 11 games this season, while alternating at both right and left guard on the offensive line. The 6-4, 309-pound junior out of Valdosta has provided good leadership for Georgia’s younger linemen and is pointing toward a big senior season in 2017 under O-line coach Sam Pittman.
