The Georgia women’s basketball team will be on the road in Oxford, Mississippi to take on Ole Miss at 3:00 p.m. ET this afternoon and are looking to break a 4-game losing streak.

 
 
THE OPENING TIP
 
Georgia hits the road for its first-ever game inside The Pavilion at Ole Miss, where the Rebels own a 12-1 record this season. The contest is available on WatchESPN via SEC Network Plus.
 
 
The Lady Bulldogs own a 32-12 lead in the all-time series against Ole Miss with eight of the Rebels’ victories coming in Oxford. Georgia has won six of the last seven meetings between the two teams.
 
 
Senior guard/forward Pachis Roberts is in the midst of an impressive final season in Athens. Georgia’s leading scorer and rebounder has upped her points per game average by nearly 10 points. In the previous three years combined, Roberts averaged just 5.0 ppg. She is now averaging 14.0 ppg this year.
 
 
Junior forward Mackenzie Engram, whose brother Evan was an All-America tight end at Ole Miss, has stepped up her play in the past two games. She has scored in double figures in back-to-back contests and is shooting 47 percent from the floor during that time.
 
 
Georgia held fourth-ranked South Carolina to its lowest point total of the season on Thursday night (62 points). In all, Georgia has held 14 teams to 40-percent or lower shooting from the floor, doing so twice to the Gamecocks.

SCOUTING OLE MISS
 
Ole Miss dropped its fourth straight game with a 89-57 road contest at Kentucky on Thursday. Freshman Shelby Gibson led Ole Miss with 15 points off the bench while Madinah Muhammad and Alissa Alston added13 and 11 points, respectively. Gibson and Erika Sisk led the rebounding efforts with four each. Ole Miss is looking to get back in the win column against Georgia. The Rebels dropped their first home game of the year against Alabama on Jan. 22 snapping a 12-game home win streak. The Rebels are also looking to snap their current four-game skid – the longest of the season.
