WTEN: Dasha Vidmanova Earns Ticket to NCAA Singles Championships
Cary, N.C. — Dasha Vidmanova earned a ticket to the NCAA Singles Championships through automatic qualification as a consolation finalist after awin in the ITA All-American Championships singles consolation semifinal at the Cary Tennis Park on Sunday.

- #2 Dasha Vidmanova produced a dominant performance in the singles main draw consolation semifinal, cruising past Old Dominion’s #37 Sofia Johnson 6-1, 6-2 to advance to the consolation final.
- With her consolation semifinal victory over Johnson, Vidmanova automatically qualified for the NCAA Singles Championships as one of two consolation finalists at the ITA All-American Championships.
- #2 Vidmanova’s singles consolation final match against Texas A&M’s #1 Mary Stoiana was not played out, ending the tournament run for both players.
