Classes for UGA’s Summer Thru Term are set to begin today, and all but three of the Bulldogs’ 25 signees for the 2017 recruiting class, aka Sic’em17, have made on campus in Athens and are enrolled for classes. Robert Beal, Netori Johnson, and DeVonte Wyatt have not.
247 Sports’ Jake Rowe reported yesterday that both D’Andre Swift and Isaiah Wilson are on campus and enrolled in classes at Georgia. Isaiah Wilson had even changed his location on Twitter to Athens, GA.

The majority of Georgia’s 2017 recruiting class started the move in just after Memorial Day on Tuesday with Latavious Brini, Matt Landers, Eric Stokes, D’Andre Swift, Mark Webb, andIsaiah Wilson expected to arrive later on in the week. But that leaves three still yet to have arrived on campus in the Classic City. Is there any cause for concern that R. Beal, N. Johnson, and D. Wyatt are still absent?
I think it is still too soon for there to be talk that those three will not qualify. We simply do not know, at this time, the reasons for their late arrival on campus. Most every year there are a couple of signeess that take longer to get on campus or cleared by the NCAA and University’s clearinghouse. And technically, all three still have a chance to enroll in the Summer Thru Term at UGA this week till the end of the drop/add period on June 9th. If they are not able to do so by then, there is also another Short Summer Session that students and student-athletes can enroll in on June 30th. Although Beal, Johnson, and Wyatt would be the summer workouts and getting a head start on their diplomas, they technically have till the fall semester to enroll on the week of August 9th.
Hopefully, we will know soon as to when the remaining three signess will make it to Athens and join the rest of the Bulldogs.
