On Monday afternoon, the preseason AP Top 25 college football poll was released, and UGA comes in at No. 3 just behind No. 1 Clemson and No. 2 Alabama.

In all, including Georgia and Alabama, there are six SEC teams in the preseason AP Top 25.

Missouri and Mississippi State come in just outside the Top 25 at No. 26 and No. 28 with 117 and 87 votes respectively. One of UGA’s SEC East rivals, South Carolina, is at No. 35 with 15 votes.
