The University of Georgia men’s basketball team has received a verbal commitment from Class of 2017 forward Rayshaun Hammonds.
The four-star prospect out of Norcross, Georgia had announced earlier in the week that he would make his decision and announcement on his birthday from Norcross High School. He is the first commitment in the Class of 2017 for Head Coach Mark Fox. The 6 foot 7 and 200 plus lbs forward chose Georgia over Alabama, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Memphis, Miami, Texas, and several other programs.
