Blazevich shocked by Richt’s choice at QB

Jeb Blazevich
[su_spacer size=”20″] University of Georgia tight end Jeb Blazevich was asked on multiple occasions this offseason on his opinion of who would become the Bulldogs’ starting quarterback and was terribly off both times. Blazevich in this interview briefly gives his opinion on recently named starting quarterback, Greyson Lambert.

Jeb Blazevich may have been the most uninformed player on the team when it came to who would win the starting quarterback position. The first time he was asked, who he believed would win the starting job for the Bulldogs, he named a player that had not crossed the mind of anyone for this position. The player he named was none other than back-up tight end Jay Rome. Of course, Jeb was joking. Players had been told not to comment on the QB battle, so Jeb decided to have some fun with the competition.
[su_spacer size=”40″] The next time the young Bulldogs tight end was asked the same question, Jay Rome had been overtaken by another player as the front runner for the starting quarterback position. The new front runner in Blazevich’s eyes at this point was another tight end which ended up being Jared Chapple.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Blazevich trusts the system and seems to have a large amount of faith in the coaches and Greyson Lambert.
[su_spacer size=”40″] When asked what he though of Greyson Lambert being named the new starter for the Georgia Bulldogs, this is what he had to say:
[su_spacer size=”40″]

Coaches decided that he was the best man for the job. We’re behind him one hundred percent. We have a lot of trust in the coaches and we have a lot of trust in our teammates, so Greyson Lambert is the starter.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Blazevich has established himself as the top tight end on the roster and will provide Lambert with a strong target that he will be able to count on in tough passing situations throughout the season. Their connection throughout the season will help the Bulldogs progress and become a better more effective offense.
