The Georgia Lady Bulldog basketball team could not overcome a balanced Oklahoma State scoring effort on Saturday in a 71-51 loss at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Playing as part of the 2016 SEC/Big 12 Challenge, OSU (7-0) built an early lead, and the Lady Bulldogs (5-3) could not claw back down the stretch. Caliya Robinson led Georgia with 16 points, recording her 11th-consecutive double-figure scoring game. Kaylee Jenson paced OSU with a double-double of 20 points and 17rebounds.
The Cowgirls outrebounded Georgia, 46-27, and outscored the Lady Bulldogs, 30-22, in the paint to tally their 54th-straight non-conference home win — a total that is second nationally to Georgia’s 60 consecutive home victories against non-conference opponents.
