Once again, the Bulldawg Illustrated staff put their heads together, channeling their powers of prognostication and foresight to predict the outcome of today’s Georgia vs. Tennessee game.
Hamilton Culpepper: Georgia 52- Tennessee 10
“Dawgs on top. Tennessee is better than what they have shown. They have athletes; they’re an SEC team, so how could they not. This being said, they are not good enough for the Dawgs. Georgia fans checkerboard Neyland, and we defeat the Vols convincingly.”
Jeff Dantzler: Georgia 24 – Tennessee 10
“Georgia has gotta avoid Special Teams Disaster. 24-10 Dawgs.”
Rebecca Gemes: Georgia 34 – Tennessee 14
“Dawgs will walk out Neyland Stadium with a win yet again but I’m not foreseeing another shutout. After work week, not having a game last week, we’ll be a little rusty but get into our jive after the 1st quarter. Dawgs on top 34-14!”
Josh Hancher: Georgia 34 – Tennessee 20
“Dawgs continue to assert run dominance and control time of possession. UT covers the spread late. Dawgs dominate, but the score doesn’t show it. Which is good for UGA Twitter and Kirby doubters. A Defensive Unit score could be the difference between a solid road win and a Dawg blowout victory. Go Dawgs!!!”
Caroline Kinney: Georgia 35 – Tennessee 10
“Georgia’s run game exploits the struggling Volunteer D Line with explosive runs and big yards. Despite the Dawgs’ injuries, the Georgia defense will befuddle Guarantano and his playmaking abilities. Going to be a great day to be a Bulldawg! Dawgs win!”
Cheri Leavy: Georgia 31 – Tennessee 24
“I am truly always worried about the Rocky Stomp! Confident in a Dawgs victory but who knows what they have up their sleeve as you never know with the SEC… Go Dawgs!!”
Vance Leavy: Georgia 37 – Tennessee 20
“This game continues to be a big concern, particularly as the situation in Knoxville gets weirder and weirder. How is that player and his antics in the back of the police car not suspended for Saturday’s game? Really, he should be off the team. The Vols are playing with house money, which should equal a competitive and physical game. After the whistle contact from the home team is a concern. Nonetheless, Kirby and Co. are wheels up by midnight with a 37-20 victory.”
Lance McCurley: Georgia 45 – Tennessee 17
“Georgia’s offensive line opens up a lot of holes for the running backs, and Fromm has two passing touchdowns. Coley lets Fromm air it out more, and he looks sharp. Defensively, Georgia dominates because of the Volunteer’s inability to settle on a quarterback. I see them scoring a touchdown late in garbage time. Go Dawgs!”
Bob Miller: Georgia 40 – Tennessee 13
“Two years ago, the Bulldogs went up to Knoxville at the end of September and handed the Volunteers their worst loss in over a century, 41-0. Last year’s contest in Athens was a wee bit closer, but Georgia still won by over three touchdowns, 38-12. Now the Dawgs are back in Knoxville and all signs point to another double-digit, three score plus victory for the good guys in red and black. Georgia will get Tennessee’s best shot of the year, but the Bulldogs are just too talented and roll 40-13 and take the lead in the series.”
Greg Poole: Georgia 41 – Tennessee 17
“I expect the Vols to be full of energy and chomping at the bit to prove they are a much better team than they have shown in 2019. Unfortunately for the, they are not. They will jump around and demonstrate all manner of fake juice before folding before Georgia’s onslaught of infantry and air power.”
Murray Poole: Georgia 48 – Tennessee 13
“Jeremy Pruitt’s Vols are more than hungry for a win but Tennessee just doesn’t have the horses to go play-for-play with an unbeaten, 3rd-ranked Bulldog team that has already passed one test from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. After being limited somewhat by the Irish defense, the Georgia offense rolls up big numbers Saturday night at Neyland Stadium.”
