The Bulldogs are coming off a big road win versus their hated rivals down south in Jacksonville, FL, a 24-17 sweet victory over the Gators. Now, Georgia returns home to host Missouri. The Bulldawg Illustrated staff have your score predictions for UGA vs. Mizzou game.

Hamilton Culpepper: Missouri 23 – Georgia 17

“I’d like to introduce a theory: Georgia sports always find a way to give me a glimmer of hope and then disappoint. It is just how the curse works. The Dawgs didn’t disappoint in Jacksonville but have no fear… it will come. In fact, I predict it will be this weekend. The win over Florida actually ties into my theory: Georgia gave us hope with a win over a top-10 opponent, but come Saturday, the larger disappointment will come. We lose to the Tigers 23-17. My pessimism is truly taking over. Again, I hope I am proven wrong, but I believe this game will only reveal the true horrors of my theory.”

Jeff Dantzler: Georgia 18 – Missouri 17

“Dawgs 18-17 over Tigers…”

Rebecca Gemes: Georgia 38 – Missouri 7

“With good weather in-store and the energy of a night game in Sanford after a huge win over the Gators, I’m seeing the dawgs come out on top again with Jake strong on the passing game to Cager, Swift & Herrien getting through the line, and the defense holding back Mizzou from a lot of scoring. Let’s see if we can get a touchdown by Charlie Woerner! Go Dawgs! 38-7!”

Josh Hancher: Georgia 23 – Missouri 13

“Mizzou is 5th in SEC Yards Per Play allowed, and 3rd in Success Rates allowed against the Pass and the Run. Dawgs can’t count on 3rd and Grantham in this one.  D’Andre Swift, Brian Herrien, and Zamir White will have to have success running for the Dawgs to beat the first of two tough SEC Defenses.  Points could be at a premium. UGA 23 Missouri 13.”

Caroline Kinney: Georgia 35 – Missouri 17

“The Dawgs have regained their confidence after a convincing win in Jacksonville. Missouri will put up a good fight in the first half but the Dawgs will win the day. 35-17- Dawgs win!”

Cheri Leavy: Georgia 31 – Missouri 10

“I feel the energy after the win over Florida!!! Need that same focus we had last week. Georgia 31-10.”

Vance Leavy: Georgia 28 – Missouri 17

“Can Georgia sustain the level of play they reached in Jacksonville is the question for Saturday night’s game against Missouri in Athens? They better because the Tigers have been hearing how terrible they are for two weeks, which always makes them a dangerous team. None-the-less, Dawgs take care of business 28-17.”

Bob Miller: Georgia 34 – Missouri 14

“Georgia faces another opponent who gets a bye week before they play the Dawgs, and Mizzou is coming to Athens seeking their first road win on the season; so, you know the Tigers from Columbia would love nothing more than to pull off an upset on Dooley Field a-la South Carolina. But if I may echo Lee Corso… “Not so fast my friend…” This game will be at night, the temps will be much cooler, and the home crowd will be in the stands loud and energized. The Dawgs come out with bad intentions and send the Tigers back home to Missouri still looking for their first road win. Bulldogs on top 34-14.”

Matthew Pasek: Georgia 34 – Missouri 13

“Coach Coley called his best game of the season in Jacksonville and the run defense was dominant.  Saturday night Between the Hedges the Dawgs will continue to build momentum for a difficult stretch run. UGA 34 – Mizzou 13”

Greg Poole: Georgia 34 – Missouri 10

“This one has all the symptoms of a trap game, but the Dawgs are not walking into an ambush. They have already been reminded this year that it is folly to take any SEC opponent lightly. Georgia will be ready despite having just whipped Florida and having Auburn on the horizon. Dawgs 34 – Tigers 10.”

Murray Poole: Georgia 31 – Missouri 14

“With every game from here out holding playoff ramifications for these Bulldogs, they should be pumped and primed Saturday evening to add to the Tigers’ road troubles. Georgia, on the strength of its big showing in Jacksonville, stymies Missouri and then makes ready to face another Tiger the following Saturday! Georgia 31, Missouri 14.”
