Bulldawg Illustrated is counting down the days till the Dawgs kickoff their college football season in Bulldawgs Countdown to Kickoff 2015, and we are down to number 35 Aaron Davis and A.J. Turman.
[su_spacer size=”20″] Aaron Davis is a graduate of Luella high school out of Locust Grove, Georgia where he played varsity football for coach Nic Vasilchek.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Davis walked on to Georgia in 2013 as a preferred walk-on and was redshirted that same year. His journey to become a Georgia Bulldawg has been a long one that saw him overcome back to back knee injuries his junior and senior years in high school.
[su_spacer size=”40″] He made his debut at cornerback in red and black in 2014 as a redshirt freshman playing in 12 games and starting 10 of those. In those 12 games, Davis amassed 40 tackles and 1 interception. He has been named Outstanding Walk-On after spring practice in both 2014 and 2015. Davis looks to vie for playing time and a start at cornerback in Defensive Coordinator Jeremy Pruitt’s secondary.

[su_spacer size=”40″] A.J. Turman is a graduate of Boon high school out of the Orlando, Florida area where he played varsity football for coach Phil Ziglar. He is a member of Georgia’s 2013 recruiting class.
[su_spacer size=”40″] A.J. Turman was redshirted in 2013 and battled through injuries last year. Now, healthy and gnawing at the bit to take his place among the Dawgs’ elite running back corps, Turman will join Nick Chubb, Tae Crowder, Brendan Douglas, Keith Marshall, and Sony Michel for the 2015 season.
