Bulldawg Illustrated is counting down the days till the Dawgs kickoff their college football season in Bulldawgs Countdown to Kickoff 2015, and we are down to number 4 Keith Marshall.
[su_spacer size=”20″] Keith Marshall is a senior running back for the Georgia Bulldawgs. A graduate of Millbrook high school out of the Raleigh, NC area, Marshall is a 2012 Under Armour High School All-American. He is a member of the 2012 recruiting class where he came in with another highly touted state of North Carolina running back by the name of Todd Gurley.
[su_spacer size=”40″] During his freshman season in 2012, Marshall played in 14 games and made 1 start rushing for 759 yards on 117 carries for a healthy 6.5 yards per carry. He also had 11 receptions for 91 yards. In total, Marshall scored 11 touchdowns.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Marshall’s sophomore campaign started out well enough until he tore his ACL in his knee in the October game versus Tennessee. Before his injury, Marshall had played in 5 games rushing for a total of 246 yards and 1 touchdown.
[su_spacer size=”40″] The road back to the field and playing time has not been an easy one for Marshall as he played in 3 games last year as a junior, sparingly, before again sustaining an injury that caused him to miss the rest of the 2014 season. However, number 4 is healthy and ready to show Dawg Nation and the college football world what he is capable of.
He will join sophomore sensation Nick Chubb and sophomore Sony Michel in the backfield along with junior Brendan Douglas, redshirt sophomore A.J. Turman and true freshman Tae Crowder to form one of the deepest running back units in all of the SEC if not college football.
