What was your biggest take away from UGA? One of the best things about going to UGA is the connections you can make that last a lifetime. Some of my best friends to this day are the ones I met 20+ years ago at UGA.
What was your favorite class at UGA and why? MS 312 or anything math related
How did your experience at UGA influence your career? Not only was UGA a great academic school, but it enabled me to network at a young age which has snowballed over time. My business is fueled by relationships and referrals so this means everything.
What achievement are you most proud of? My wife and kids
What is your favorite part about your career? A home is a family’s biggest investment and having a huge part in that is an honor. It is also great to get to work with such great clients in my hometown on a regular basis.
What is one skill that you would like to improve? I am not sure I would call it a skill, but one thing that bothers me about myself that I would like to improve is that once I get my mind set on something I obsess about it until it is done. I wish I could be more laid-back and patient about my to-do list.
What do you typically do in your free time? I like to do pretty much anything outdoors from golf, hunting, fishing, and biking. When I have time to get away, I enjoy traveling with my family.
Who is your favorite writer and why? I honestly do not read many books, and I think that is due to my self-diagnosed dyslexia. I do enjoy reading news articles, magazines, and of course the Bulldawg Illustrated. If I had to chose one writer as my favorite, it would have to be the great Thomas Carlyle.
What is your favorite part about Athens? I love the constant activity and energy in a college town. I feel like living here around these college kids helps keep me young.
Who would you consider your hero? I would consider both of my parents as my heroes, especially now that I am a parent myself and see that parenting is no easy task. They have always given me everything they could to make me the person I am today.
