[su_spacer size=”40″] Number 74 played for the University of Georgia football team from 2002 through 2005 under head coach Mark Richt on the offensive line, and he earned first team All-American and All-SEC honors during his senior season with the Dawgs, helping UGA to a 2nd SEC Conference Championship under Coach Richt. During his college football career, Jean-Gilles played in 29 games and started in 16 for the Bulldawgs.

He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round at pick 99 of the 2006 NFL Draft where he played for 5 years before heading to the Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers in 2011. Presently, the former Georgia Bulldawg offensive lineman is on IR with the Portland Thunder, an Arena League Football team.
