The Georgia Bulldogs started off the game hot on both sides of the ball and did not lose the lead once in the game as they cruised to a 73-60 victory over a good Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns team, who was 8-2 before the game.

 
 
The Bulldogs were able to have such an outstanding performance due to the Ragin’ Cajuns inability to knock down shots and the fact that they got into foul trouble early.
 
 
In the first half, The Ragin’ Cajuns went 8-33 from the field which gave them a field goal percentage of 24.2.
 
 
The Ragin’ Cajuns also went 9 of 13 from the free-throw line in the first half, so they even struggled to capitalize on easy points.
 
 
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs shot a much better 13 of 34 from the field which gave them a field goal percentage of 38.2, and they were perfect from the free throw line as they went 10 of 10.
 
 

 
 
The Bulldogs stars showed out in this game as Yante Maten had a dominant first half and JJ Frazier had an outstanding second half.
 
 
Maten was a rebound away from a double-double in the first half as he had 14 points and nine rebounds.
 
 
Maten was eventually able to earn his double-double as he finished the game with 18 points and 15 rebounds.
 
 
Maten cooled off in the second half as he only got 4 points, but JJ Frazier was able to pick up some of the slack as he had 9 points in the second half and finished the game with 15 points.
 
 
Juwan Parker and Derek Ogbeide also had very solid showings for the Bulldogs as Parker finished with 14 points and three rebounds and Ogbeide finished with 9 points, and 13 rebounds, which meant Ogbeide almost joined Maten with a double-double of his own.
 
 
The Bulldogs Bigs also threw a block party tonight as they had 11 blocks with 6 coming from Derek Ogbeide and 5 coming from Yante Maten.
 
 
Overall, This was a very well-played game on both sides of the ball for the Bulldogs and this may have been their most complete game that they have played, thus far as they improve to 6-3 on the year.
