DAN LANNING – Through three games, Dan Lanning’s defense has allowed just a single touchdown. Combine that with the two defensive touchdowns that Georgia has scored this year and it becomes easy to see why Lanning will be a head coaching candidate at the end of the year. He has been aggressive with his play calls this year, playing to the strengths of his pass rush and his front seven. Look for Lanning to keep that pressure on against an inferior Vanderbilt offensive line.

MARCUS ROSEMY-JACKSAINT (WR #81) – Rosemy-Jacksaint made a terrific comeback to make it back by the start of the season after suffering a season-ending injury against Florida last year. He was viewed as a potential breakout threat at receiver due to all the injuries within the position group. It has been a slow start this season for Rosemy-Jacksaint, with just three catches for 31 yards this year. Georgia should look to get him involved early against the Commodores.

CHRISTOPHER SMITH (DB #29) – Smith will forever be remembered by Georgia fans for his interception returned for a touchdown against Clemson. He’s had to wait his turn at safety for Georgia, but is finally getting to shine in a starring role. Smith said in training camp that he was coming into the season with a different mentality, and that has contributed to Georgia’s defensive success this season.

KENDALL MILTON (RB #2) – Milton is another talented piece in a crowded running backs room for Georgia. He was the team’s leading rusher against South Carolina with 10 carries for 66 yards. Milton is dangerous when he gets in the open field with his cutting ability and physicality. Kirby Smart has said that he likes to ride with the hot hand and running back, so look for Milton to build on his performance against South Carolina with even more carries than Vanderbilt.

WARREN McCLENDON (OL #70) – It seems like McClendon has become the most underrated piece of the offensive line. He was Georgia’s solidified starter at right tackle coming into the season and is a big reason why the Bulldogs have only allowed two sacks through three games. If McClendon can keep the Commodores from Daniels he should be able to tear apart Vanderbilt’s defense. He should also start to find his name on some NFL Draft boards if he continues his solid play this season.

KELEE RINGO (DB #5) – Ringo secured his first career interception against UAB with a jumping grab in the air. He missed most of last year with injuries but could move into the consistent starter role at cornerback across from Derion Kendrick.
