SEDRICK VAN PRAN-GRANGER

KENNY McINTOSH (RB #6) – We know what Zamir White and James Cook bring to the table. Georgia’s depth at the running back position is what makes the position special though. Kenny McIntosh is a versatile back that can be used in the passing game. Fans saw that on Saturday with McIntosh taking a 32-yard swing pass for a touchdown on fourth down against Charleston Southern. All of Georgia’s running backs, including McIntosh should play big roles against Georgia Tech. With Kendall Milton still banged up, McIntosh could get more carries.

SEDRICK VAN PRAN-GRANGER (OL #63) – Van Pran was one of the top-rated centers coming out of high school in Louisiana. With a chance to play in every game, he’s proved why that was. A clip of Van Pran went viral after pancaking a Tennessee defender. He seems more comfortable and powerful each and every week, with solid pass protection and physical run blocking. And he’s only a redshirt freshman, so he could be snapping in Athens for years to come.

DARNELL WASHINGTON (TE #0) – Brock Bowers has been a stud at tight end for Georgia this year, coming off of another two touchdown performance against Charleston Southern. However, the Bulldogs need to find more ways to use Darnell Washington as well in the pass game. Washington did not have a catch against the Buccaneers. In seven games he has just seven catches. At 6-foot-7, 265 pounds, he has the ability and size to make much more of an impact than that, even though he has been a superior run blocker this season.

JALEN CARTER (DL #88) – The second most exciting part about Jordan Davis lining up at tailback was Jalen Carter getting to flex out to receiver. Kirby Smart said he wanted to catch a pass, but they ultimately had to give the ball to Davis. Carter sheds blocks as quickly as anybody and is a constant force on the defensive line. He battled with the flu against Tennessee and did not have to play much against Charleston Southern. He should have a bigger impact against Tech as Georgia prepares for the SEC Championship game.

CHANNING TINDALL (LB #41) – I think it is safe to say that Channing Tindall has exceeded everybody’s expectations in Athens this season. He leads the Bulldogs with 45 total tackles and has 4.5 sacks on the season, including three against the Volunteers to clinch the SEC East. He might be the fastest linebacker in the country and the trio of him, Nakobe Dean and Quay Walker have been excellent at inside linebacker for Georgia this year.

LEWIS CINE (S #16) – Cine has been a star on the backend of Georgia’s defense. He has come a long way in his career from just a heavy-hitter to a disciplined safety that will likely play on Sundays. When Georgia Tech is forced into obvious passing situations, Cine should be able to shine.
