J.T. Daniels  (QB, #18)

Daniels had a career day against Mississippi State, but will be looking to continue that excellence versus South Carolina. The redshirt sophomore threw for over 400 yards against the Bulldogs last week, but the coaching staff is looking for consistency. That is something that he will have to prove. This will be a true test because it will be his first SEC road game in which he will play. Although the limited crowd due to COVID shouldn’t affect him much. Look for him to continue to make great reads and open up Georgia’s offense more.

Zamir White (RB, #3)

With Stetson Bennett’s status unknown, this could be the game where As the season has progressed, Georgia running back Zamir White has produced more in each performance. The 6-foot, 215-pound junior had an offer from South Carolina out of high school, but ultimately chose Georgia in 2018. White’s speed seems like it has returned after he suffered two consecutive ACL tears from his senior year in high school to after arriving in Athens. That speed especially showed on Georgia’s first play from scrimmage against Florida when he took a sweep 76 yards for a score. His raw, physical talent is something that has shown so far this season. White will be the premiere back for Georgia that will attack one of the weaker rush defenses in the SEC.

Jermaine Burton (WR, #7)

With the passing game finally starting to open up, Georgia freshman wide receiver Jermaine Burton could be fully utilized against South Carolina. Burton has been targeted a lot this season, but he hasn’t come up with a ton of grabs until last week against Mississippi State. He’s still developing his raw talent and would have benefited from a full summer of workouts alongside fall camp. There’s been times where the freshman has dropped balls and ran wrong routes. However, improvement continues to be made each week, which is what you want from a youngster. Burton is still polishing his skills, but he has the potential to make an impact in any moment of the game. That breakout game last week against the Maroon Bulldogs shows what he’s capable of if given more of an opportunity.

Channing Tindall (ILB, #44)

Georgia inside linebacker Channing Tindall will face off against his hometown team on Saturday for the third time. The Columbia, South Carolina native was a four-star out of Spring Valley High School, but signed with Georgia as a part of the 2017 recruiting class. Tindall has played a limited role this season, but has shined in moments. He’s seen action in all of Georgia’s games this season so far. The 6-2, 218-pound junior had four tackles against Tennessee, including a pair of sacks. Tindall has to split time with others behind senior and team leader, Monty Rice. While on the field this upcoming Saturday, look for Tindall to try and make a difference against the Gamecocks.

Nakobe Dean (ILB, #17)

Georgia’s Nakobe Dean has had a great season thus far in 2020. The Horn Lake, Mississippi native is the team’s leading tackler through the first seven games. The way Dean plays, he draws comparisons to former Bulldog and current Chicago Bears player Roquan Smith. Dean’s speed shows because he can be on one side of the field and over to the other in a matter of seconds. It seems like wherever the ball goes, Dean follows. That showed against Kentucky as the sophomore finished with 14 total tackles. Recently, the Gamecocks’ offense have relied on their run game heavily with the emergence of Kevin Harris. So, watch for Dean to be a key part of Georgia’s defense trying to stop the South Carolina rushing attack.

Kirby Smart (Head Coach)

Georgia’s fifth-year head coach is looking for revenge against South Carolina on Saturday. Last season, the Gamecocks upset the Bulldogs at Sanford Stadium and ultimately ruined their College Football Playoff hopes. Even though Georgia lost to LSU in the SEC Championship, they probably would’ve still made the playoff if they went undefeated in the regular season. So, Smart has probably had this one marked down since last year. Although he will not be facing off against Will Muschamp, Smart will be coaching against former Bulldog and close personal friend, Mike Bobo.
