Fullback Christian Payne (6-1/232 from Athens/Prince Avenue Christian) spoke with the media about the thin running back position. With Brendan Douglas out current with what has been reported to a fractured wrist that required surgery, Payne said A.J Turman, Tae Crowder and Quayvon Hicks have been getting reps at tailback/halfback to “take up the slack.”
