Cincinnati Bengals sign former Georgia linebacker Davin Bellamy

The Cincinnati Bengals reported on Friday that the team signed free agent Davin Bellamy to their practice squad. The former Georgia linebacker spent last year with the Houston on the Texans practice squad after going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Bellamy came to the University of Georgia as part of the Bulldogs’ 2013 recruiting class out of Chamblee High School in Chamblee, GA. He would take a redshirt in ’13 and make his collegiate debut as in 2014 playing 10 games for UGA. As a redshirt sophomore, Bellamy played in 10 games, starting 2 for the Bulldogs in 2015. For his junior season in 2016, Bellamy took a more prominent role in Georgia’s defense making 11 starts in 13 games, and as a senior, he would start 14 of the Dawgs’ 15 games. Davin Bellamy would finish his collegiate career at UGA with 135 total tackles, including 24.0 for loss, and 13.0 sacks,
