Class of 2017 quarterback prospect Jake Fromm has flipped his commitment from Alabama and verbally committed to the University of Georgia.
Fromm is a 6 foot 3 and 220 lbs quarterback out of Houston County High School in Warner Robins, GA. He had been committed to the University of Alabama since October of 2015, but flipped his commitment to Georgia. Fromm has a number of scholarship offers from FBS college programs including Alabama, Miami, North Carolina, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech to name a few.

Jake Fromm is ranked as a 4-star pro-style quarterback prospect by 247Sports.com’s composite ranking system, and a top 5 player at his position for the class of 2017. ESPN and Rivals.com along with Scout.com also rank Fromm as a 4-star prospect, and he is ranked in the Top247, ESPN300, Top Rivals100 and Top Scout 100 for the 2017 class. The Houston County signal caller is considered one of the top 10 prospects coming out of the state of Georgia for 2017.
Last year, as a junior, he passed the ball for 4,099 yards and 36 touchdowns to just 6 interceptions with a completion percentage of 59%. For his varsity high school football career so far, Fromm has 8,835 yards passing and 75 touchdowns to 16 interceptions with a career completion percentage of 59.7%.
