As we mentioned the other day, Georgia sent out a number of offers last week including some to high school freshmen. Victor Burley, Bryce Thornton, and Peter Woods were three 2023 prospects that received offers from the Bulldogs.
Victor Burley is a 6-foot-4 and 255 lbs defensive lineman out of Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, GA. Both 247Sports and Rivals project Burley as a strongside defensive end in the 2023 recruiting class. The offer from the Bulldogs is Burley’s second overall with Tennessee being first to offer. RobinsFootball Player HighlightBryce Thornton is a 5-foot-11 and 185 lbs defensive back out of Milton High School in Milton, GA. Thornton was named as the1st Team Region 5 Class 7A All-Region Defensive Back for 2019. He also plays varsity high school basketball.
Peter Woods is a 6-foot-3 and 233 lbs defensive lineman out of Thompson High School in Alabaster, AL. Like Burley, he is projected as a strongside defensive end by 247Sports. UGA’s offer was Woods’ sixth overall. He has also received offers from Auburn, Florida, Indiana, Tennessee, and UAB. You can watch Woods’ latest highlights by clicking on the video below.
