Eric Reed, Jr., a 6-foot-1 and 197 lbs senior out of Calvary Baptist Academy High School in Shreveport, LA, has been committed to Ole Miss since June 18th, but the four-star 2020 safety prospect has been on flip watch since UGA offered in September.

Georgia’s secondary coach, Charlton Warren, went to see Reed last week when Calvary Baptist hosted Plain Dealing on Friday, October 25th.
What are Georgia’s chances of flipping Reed?
While Reed has been solidly committed to Ole Miss since June, this is one to keep your eye on, especially with the Bulldogs continuing to court Reed. Another school that could also flip Reed would be LSU. Right now, the Bayou Bengals are riding a wave of momentum and Reed could very well decide to stay home.
Whether he stays committed to the Rebels or flips to the Dawgs or Tigers, the school where he signs and enrolls at will be getting a 4-star prospect by 247Sports, and the No. 17 safety, No. 7 player from the state of Louisiana, and 201st overall recruiting prospect in the 2020 class. Rivals also rates Reed a 4-star recruit.
