On Sunday, Callaway High School 2020 running back Tank Bigsby announced via Twitter that he will be announcing his commitment decision this Friday, August 9th at 6:30 p.m. EST. Bigsby will make his decision between Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina, and LSU out of over 34 scholarship offers he currently holds.

247Sports ranks the 6-foot-0 and 210 lbs four-star prospect as the No. 7 RB in the 2020 recruiting class, the No. 4 player from the state of Georgia, and overall, the No. 31 player nationally. Rivals also rates Bigsby as a 4-star prospect but have him as the No. 1 RB, No. 6 player from the state of Georgia, and the No. 29 player overall nationally.
So where will the rising senior from Hogansville, GA commit to?
Tank was offered by UGA back in April of 2017. He visited the Bulldawgs back on June 4th, but his last several visits have all be to Auburn, the last one with his high school football team on July 27th. Bigsby took three of his five official visits, one to LSU back in April, another one to South Carolina on June 1st, and then Auburn on June 7th. If one just went by his visits, it would seem that Bigsby is leaning towards Auburn.
And if you look at 247Sport’s crystal ball predictions from the experts, 36% say Auburn. However, 36% say South Carolina, and a couple of recent predictions say Georgia.
The Bulldawgs have already received a commitment from Buchanan High School, Clovis, CA 5-star RB Kendall Milton. He announced his decision a week ago on Monday, July 29th. And UGA has offers out to 11 other uncommitted 2020 RB prospects including Zachary Evans and EJ Smith.
Evans visited the Bulldawgs on July 27th and Smith plans to take an official to Georgia. South Carolina also has a running back committed for 2020, DeMatha Catholic School’s MarShawn Lloyd. Auburn doesn’t have a RB committed for 2020 as of yet and neither does LSU.
But just because the Bulldawgs and Gamecocks already have a 2020 RB commitment, that doesn’t mean that Bigsby would be opposed to joining either team. Here is what he said back in June about going to a program that already has a running back commitment.
“I don’t care how many they take,” Bigsby said. “I am just going to go in there and do what I got to do. “There are only two guys who stand out to me who I want to play with in college – Kendall Milton and MarShawn Lloyd.”
Having said all that, I think Auburn, Georgia, or South Carolina are all neck and neck with one another. The one school I would really be surprised and shocked by if he picked, would be LSU.
