He will make his decision between his top-four schools: Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, and Penn State. Johnson has taken official visits to Georgia (September 21st), Penn State (October 19th), and Michigan (October 26th). In addition to the official to UGA on September 21st, Johnson also came down to visit the Bulldogs earlier this year during the spring.

Where will Johnson land? Of the three schools he took official visits too, it is likely between Georgia and Penn State with a number of recruiting experts leaning towards Johnson picking the Nittany Lions. But a dark horse could be Iowa.
Whichever program lands Johnson will be getting a dynamic athlete and football player. At The Opening Regionals in Ohio, he posted a SPARQ score of 111.00 when he turned in a 4.67-second forty and posted a 35.2-inch vertical.

He is considered the No. 1 player from “The Heartland” of “The North” by 247Sports and the No. 3 TE and overall, the No. 96 recruit. ESPN also rates Johnson the No. 1 player out of Ontario, has him just one spot lower at TE at No. 4, and ranks him as the 131st overall prospect. Rivals rates Johnson as the No. 4 TE and the top 107th player in the 2020 class.
