It’s officially the dead period for recruiting and time for the July version of SL’s Georgia class prediction. Since the last class prediction, Georgia added two new commits to the board with four-star quarterback John Rhys Plumlee and offensive tackle Xavier Truss. I believe there are more “silent” commits out there for the Bulldogs. This caliber of athletes that Georiga’s going after doesn’t make decisions this early. The prospects take their time and think about where they’ll spend the next three-four years.
Georgia ranks as the No. 13 overall class and the No. 6 SEC class right now. However, I expect that to change the closer we get to signing day. Things, for the most part, are the same, however, there are some areas where players grew in confidence or new names emerged completely. Georgia currently has 10 commitments and all of them, in my opinion, are 100 percent committed to the Bulldogs. Nolan Smith leads the way and every guy I speak to mentions his name.
Below I break down each position and who the Bulldogs might pick up and a few other guys on the radar. I rank 1-3 scale of confidence that the prospect will sign with Georgia.
