Woodstock defensive back David Daniel was one of a number of 2021 prospective student-athletes in attendance for Georgia’s home game versus Murray State on Saturday in Athens. Daniel Tweeted out how his visit went, saying “Always a Dope time at UGA” tagging assistant coach Charlton Warren.

Coach Warren, who coaches the Bulldogs defensive backs, made a trip out to Woodstock to visit with Daniel back in May.

And if we are counting, Daniel’s visit this past weekend was at least his fourth since March and number five on the year as his first was back in January.

247Sports rates the 6-foot-2 and 185 Daniel a 4-star prospect and the No. 2 athlete, the No. 5 player from the state of Georgia, and the No. 41 overall recruit in the nation for 2021. Rivals also rates the junior a 4-star prospect, the No. 3 safety, the No. 8 player from the state of Georgia, and the No. 81 overall recruit in the country. So far, Daniel holds over 26 scholarship offers.
And I expect to see Daniel receive more offers. He is a talented athlete who shows a knack and an instinct at making plays on the defensive side of the ball. Last season, as a sophomore, he tallied 66 tackles, two for a loss, a quarterback sack, one forced fumble, and two interceptions that he returned for touchdowns. Daniel also had a blocked punt and field goal.
