Eight Mile, AL defensive lineman Lee Hunter released his top-12 schools on Twitter on Tuesday, and UGA was one of the twelve. Also included are Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
A 6-foot-5 and 292 lbs junior out of Blount High School, Hunter is considered one of the top d-lineman in the 2021 recruiting class. Rivals currently rates Hunter a 5-star prospect, the No. 5 defensive tackle, the No. 3 player from the state of Alabama, and the 51st overall recruit nationally for 2021. 247Sports also has Hunter as a 5-star prospect. 247 list Hunter as the No. 4 d-tackle, the No. 3 player from the state of Alabama, and the 27th overall recruit in the country.
Auburn is considered the leader for Hunter at the moment, but there is a long, long way to go as far as the 2021 recruiting class is concerned.
