Edwards is a 5-foot-10 and 210 lbs senior who 247Sports has rated as a 4-star prospect, the No. 22 RB, the No. 30 player from the state of Georgia, and the No. 299 player overall nationally. Rivals rates Edwards as a 4-star prospect as well, the No. 13 RB, and the No. 19 player from the Peach State.
Over the past 3 years for the Colquitt County Packers, Edwards has complied 3,405 yards rushing on 550 carries, averaging 6.2 yards per carry, and 53 rushing touchdowns in 43 games. He also has caught 45 passes for 413 yards, averaging 9.2 yards per reception.
