Last night on Twitter, Warren Easton High School class of 2020 offensive lineman Sedrick Van Pran Tweeted out that he had a “huge” announcement tonight between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. CT (10:00-10:30 EST).

UGA is considered the leader at the moment for Van Pran. The senior from New Orleans, LA was originally not expected to announce his decision till January in one of the All-Star games; so, it’s hard to say if he is planning to do so tonight or if he is naming his top schools, committing to one of the all-star games, or if it’s something else entirely. If he does announce his decision and commit to the Bulldogs, “SVP” will join a talented 2020 o-line recruiting class for Georgia which includes 4-star OT Joshua Braun (Suwannee HS, Live Oak, FL), 5-star OT Broderick Jones (Lithonia HS, Lithonia, GA), 4-star OT Chad Lindberg (Clear Creek HS, League City, TX), and 4-star OT Tate Ratledge (Darlington School, Rome, GA).
Rivals just updated their offensive linemen rankings for the 2020 prospective student-athletes, and Sedrick Van Pran is now rated as the overall No. 1 offensive center. Rivals has Van Pran as the No. 2 player from the state of Louisiana just behind DT Jaquelin Roy, and the 72nd player overall nationally.
247Sports ranks the 6-foot-4 and 305 lb Van Pran a 4-star prospect offensive lineman and the No. 3 center in the 2020 class, the No. 3 player from the state of Louisiana, and the No. 101 recruit overall nationally.
