Derek Wingo is a four-star outside linebacker from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He’s 6-2 210 pounds. According to the 2020 247Sports composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 170 overall player, the No. 9 OLB, and the No. 25 FL prospect. Wingo currently holds 19 offers with the latest coming from Penn State on June 14. Miami offered on June 9, Michigan on June 2, and Oregon on May 17. He visited Florida on May 19 and then attended FIU’s Golden Panthers camp. His latest visit was to Ohio State on June 21. It appears that the battle for this linebacker is between Oklahoma, Clemson and Ohio State. On his 247Sports profile, Ohio State holds 100 percent of the advantage. However, I expect him to take some more visits and explore other schools before making a decision.  Georgia’s not pushing for him that hard right now, but that could change. He’s a heck of a player and it wouldn’t surprise me if he made a visit just to experience Athens.

Jesus Machado is a four-star outside linebacker from Hialeah, Florida. He’s 6-1 205 pounds. According to the latest 2020 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 13 OLB and the No. 34 FL prospect.  Machado currently holds 13 offers with the latest coming from Texas A&M on May 9.  Arkansas offered on April 5, Louisville on March 28 and Baylor on March 3. He didn’t do much traveling this spring and summer but I expect him to start making some moves this fall. Last season he recorded 79 tackles, 21 sacks, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries for touchdowns. This one’s recruitments wide open, with Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, FSU and Georgia being the front-runners in my opinion.
