Kaine Williams was offered by Georgia back in the fall in September, and the Bulldogs were one of the schools that made his top-six he released on January 17th.
The John Ehret High School junior defensive back narrowed down his top schools out of over 24 scholarship offers. On Wednesday, he added a couple of more programs to his top schools list expanding it to eight.
Williams added Florida State and Texas who join Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M. The Longhorns recently offered Williams on January 31st.
The 6-foot-1.5 and 192 lbs Williams is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports and the No. 4 safety, the No. 5 player from the state of Louisiana, and the 95th overall recruit in the 2021 recruiting class nationally. Rivals also rates Williams a four-star prospect, and have him as the No. 42 safety, the No. 4 player from the state of Louisiana, and the 96th recruit overall in the country.
