Daily Dawg Thread 24 April 2020: Recruiting update on offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia

Kingsley Suamataia is a rising senior offensive lineman for the Orem High School Tigers in Utah who was offered by the Bulldogs back last summer in June.

While his former high school teammate, 2020 linebacker Noah Sewell, signed with Oregon back in December and enrolled early in January and the Ducks are considered the school to beat for Kingsley, Georgia continues to show a lot of “love.”

Suamataia now has over 33 scholarship offers and in addition to Oregon and Georgia, there are several other schools that could be potential landing spots for the 6-foot-5 and 280 lbs lineman including Alabama and Utah. Arkansas is also another strong contender given that the Razorbacks new head coach, Sam Pittman, was the one to recruit and offer him while Pittman was the offensive line coach at UGA back in 2019.

247Sports rates Kingsley a four-star prospect, the No. 9 offensive tackle, the No. 1 player from the state of Utah, and the No. 64 overall recruit in the nation for the 2021 class. Rivals also rates him as a four-star prospect and the No. 16 offensive tackle as well as a top-100 recruiting prospect in the country for 2021.
