NEWS:
Sav’ell Smalls is a 2020 five-star outside linebacker from Seattle, Washington. He’s 6-3 227 pounds. According to the latest 2020 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 4 overall prospect, the No. 1 OLB, and the No. 1 player in WA. Smalls currently has 26 offers with the latest coming from Penn State on Sept. 19. Oklahoma offered on Sept. 11, Texas on Aug. 1, and Ohio State on June 24. On Sept. 22, Smalls visited Oregon for an unofficial visit. His latest visit was to Washington on Sept. 29. He visited FSU on July 29 and Florida on July 27. Alabama got an unofficial visit on June 22. The Crimson Tide holds 38 percent of the advantage on his 247Sports profile. FSU holds 38 percent, Washington 12 percent and the other 12 percent says Smalls is Undecided. At this point, he could make a decision by summer, but he could also prolong it and wait it out till next December. Georgia isn’t out of the race, but it has some catching up to do if it wants to compete with the above three teams.

NEWS:
Mekhail Sherman is a five-star 2020 outside linebacker from Washington, DC. He is 6-3 234 pounds. According to the latest 2020 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 15 overall prospect, the No. 2 OLB, and the No. 1 DC player. Sherman currently has 32 offers with the latest coming from LSU on Sept. 4. Oregon offered on July 19, FSU on June 5, and Alabama on June 2. He attended Penn State’s football camp on June 23. Ohio State holds 100 percent of the advantage on his 247Sports profile, but I don’t know how long that will stand. Sherman has an SEC build for a linebacker and by the time his signing day comes around, the Bulldogs will be looking for another guy on the outside. In fact, at one time he planned on making a summer commit, but as of yesterday, his commitment will be on National Signing Day in February 2020. So there is a long way to go with this one, but expect Georgia to stay on his heels and get him on campus this spring, summer, and fall.
