Georgia picked up their eight commitment for the 2021 recruiting class with Carrollton High School lineback Chaz Chambliss’ announcement on Tuesday. So who could be the next to “pull the trigger” and commit to the “G?”
One name to know is Napa High School tight end Brock Bowers.
Bowers names UGA one of this top-eight schools back in April.

The Bulldogs were the only SEC program on his list, which he narrowed down from over 24 scholarship offers.
Georgia offered the 6-foot-4 and 225 lbs rising senior out of Napa, CA last September.

He also told DawgNation’s Jeff Sentell he wants to check out UGA for another visit.
“Shoot I know I’d want to go check out Georgia again,” Bowers said. “Just to go back down there. To feel that again. I want to get up to Oregon and actually have like a real visit up there. Shoot, then some other schools probably. I’m not totally sure yet.”
Brock Bowers: Nation’s No. 3 TE knows what he’d like to do before his decision
So it is safe to say that he most likely plans to take more visits to his top-schools before finalizing and announcing his decision. How the NCAA, conferences, and schools will handle in-person, on-campus visits going forward with the Coronavirus Pandemic overshadowing the the sport of college football and recruiting remains to be seen, though.
Bowers is rated a 4-star prospect by 247Sports, the No. 3 tight end, and the No. 10 player from the state of California. Rivals also rates Bowers a four-star prospect currently, the No. 6 tight end, and the No. 11 player from the state of California for the 2021 recruiting class. ESPN also lines up with 247 and Rivals giving Brock a four-star rating and considering him one of the top-ten tight ends in the 2021 class.
Through 9 games last season, Bowers hauled in 39 receptions for 1,098 yards and 14 touchdowns for the Grizzlies. He also ran the ball 22 times for 316 yards and 3 additional scores. On defense, Bowers made 25 stops, 8 for a loss, including a quarterback sack. Bowers also plays varsity high school basketball for the Grizzlies.
