The University of Georgia picked up its first commitment for the 2022 recruiting class on Wednesday from Brookwood High School defensive back Marquis Groves-Killebrew.

The 6-foot-0 and 180 lbs rising junior made the announcement via Twitter and chose the Bulldogs out of over 33 scholarship offers.
247Sports has Killebrew rated as a four-star, top-100 prospect for 2022, and he is considered one of the top-10 players from the state of Georgia. Rivals also rates Killebrew a four-star cornerback prospect for 2022.
Killebrew transferred from Grayson High School to Brookwood at the end of the 2019 school year. He competed at cornerback for the Rams last season as a sophomore. You can watch Marquis Groves-Killebrew’s most recent highlights by clicking on the video below.
