The 6-foot-7.5 and 261 lbs Desert Pines high school senior is rated a 5-star prospect by 247Sports and the No. 1 athlete, the No. 1 player from the state of Nevada, and the No. 12 recruit in the country overall. Rivals also rates Washington as a 5-star prospect and have him as the No. 2 TE and the 18th overall recruit in the nation.
Will Washington come all the way to Athens, GA from Nevada for a visit?
Yes. He already has. Washington made his way from Las Vegas to take an unofficial visit to UGA during the last weekend in July and had a very good one by all accounts. Just check out 2020 DB prospect Kelee Ringo’s Tweet after the visit.

Washington has also set a date to take an official visit to UGA during the weekend the Bulldawgs host Notre Dame which is on September 21st. As we talked about on Tuesday’s Daily Dawg Thread, 2020 TE Arik Gilbert is also set to take an official visit that weekend. Washington has also planned an official visit to Alabama on the weekend when the Crimson Tide host LSU which is November 9th.
What are UGA’s chances at landing Washington?
Out of the seven crystal ball predictions currently on 247Sports, one is for Alabama, one is undecided, and the last four are for Georgia… UGA has a total of five as there is one CB from April 15th, 2019. Right now, I like the Bulldawgs’ chances here.
What’s next for Washington?
It is possible he announces his decision before he takes all his official visits but Washington could take the recruiting process into January and wait to announce at the Under Armour All-star game. Desert Pines High School and Washington will host Bishop Manogue this Friday, August 30th at 10:00 p.m. EST to open up their season.
