Among the prospective student-athletes visiting the University of Georgia over the weekend was Garrett Nussmeier, who is the son of Doug Nussmeier, the current tight ends coach of the Dallas Cowboys and former offensive coordinator at Florida and Alabama.

And the UGA coaching staff offered the class of 2021 quarterback from Flower Mound, TX on Friday after watching him work out at camp. The offer from the Bulldawgs marks Nussmeier’s 17th so far which includes programs like LSU, Missouri, South Carolina, Penn State, and TCU, and he is the 10th QB offered by Georgia for 2021.

Nussmeier is a rising junior at Marcus High School. Last year, he had 1,557 yards passing with 12 touchdowns to just five interceptions for the Marauders. He is currently rated a 3-star prospect by both 247Sports and Rivals.
