CLASS: 2019
POSITION: TE
HT, WT: 6-2 240
SCHOOL: Lakeland
CITY, STATE: Lakeland, FL
STATUS: Undeclared
# OF OFFERS: 32 offers
UGA OFFER: Yes, June 15, 2017
NEWS:
Keon Zipperer is a four-star tight end from Lakeland, Florida. He’s 6-2 240-pounds. According to the latest 247Sports Composite rankings, he ranks as the No. 125 overall player, the No. 3 TE and the No. 19 prospect in Florida. Zipperer currently holds 32 offers with the latest coming from Penn State on March 21. He visited Miami for Junior day on March 24 then went back on May 19. Zipperer visited FSU on March 26, Clemson on March 28, Florida on March 29, and Alabama on April 7. Since then, he had coaches from Miami visit him two, a coach visit from the Gators and a coach from Alabama.
On May 30, he tweeted out that he’s leaving the state for school. However, on his 247Sports profile, Florida holds a 70 percent advantage and Miami holds a 30 percent advantage. After his tweet though, I’d say he goes to Alabama or Clemson. Georgia needs to push for this one and add him to an already talented tight end group.
