Georgia has one running back committed in the 2021 recruiting class already, IMG rising senior Lovasea Carroll, but the coaching staff would most likely like to sign a second tailback in addition to Carroll. Out of the 14 current offers to running backs this recruiting cycle, one potential prospect could be Miami-Central High School’s Amari Daniels.
Back in February, Daniels put the Bulldogs in his top four schools.
In addition to Georgia, he also named Nebraska, Penn State, and Texas A&M among his top programs.
The 5-foot-8, 194-pound rising senior out of Miami, Florida has rushed for 720 yards and 13 touchdown on 77 carries in 14 games the last two season for the Rockets. He also has six receptions for 48 yards.
247Sports rates Daniels as a three-star all-purpose back for 2021 while both ESPN and Rivals have him as a four-star prospect.
