The 16th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs dropped a midweek game to the Mercer Bears, 5-2, on Wednesday at Jack Turner Stadium.
Georgia is now 25-11 on the season.

- Dallis Goodnight and Sarah Gordon each had two hits in the game, combining for four of Georgia’s six hits. Jaydyn Goodwin and Gordon drove in both of Georgia’s runs.
- Rachel Gibson suffered the loss in her start. She pitched one and a third innings, allowing three runs on two hits. She walked three and struck out two.
- Lilli Backes and Randi Roelling each pitched in relief on Wednesday.
