Quotes
Ike Cousins Head Baseball Coach Wes Johnson
On how they’ve been successful this season so far…
“We’ve had three or four games where we’ve only given up one run. Pitching has been good and we’ve got enough hits. We’ve won a couple of games without hitting home runs so it shows you that our offense can get hits. We don’t need to rely on the long ball as much.”

On finding the right approach at bat…
“Just swing hard and swing at strikes. I swing as hard as I can and just take the pitches that aren’t close.”

Key Quotes:
Georgia Head Coach Tony Baldwin
On the series win…
“Just excited. We had great crowds all weekend, great weather. This is what life in the SEC is all about, getting to play in front of great fans and a great opponent. Just really thought Randi [Roelling] took control of the game right from the start. The way she threw on Friday, even got a little bit better this weekend. The drop ball was working; I think she might have had a season high of strikeouts. We’re a pretty good team when we don’t give up runs. I thought the defense was really sharp. I thought we, while we didn’t ever breakthrough for a critical number, I thought we had a lot of good at-bats, and we won a lot of points.”

On her performance…
“I’m really grateful. It was really fun. I just want to go out there and feed my dogs. I think that’s what we do or everyone in the country is supposed to do is. We go hard as much as we can and just keep at it.”
