Quote of the Day
“I think it’s a good thing that the SEC does,” head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson said. “I’ve done it everywhere I’ve been. I think what people don’t understand is that it’s more than just a basketball game for these young boys and girls that might have never seen a college campus before or never come to a college basketball game. They get to see some role models out there and see a really cool campus. Some of these kids may not even know this campus is here. I wish that their parents could come with them too, so they can see. It gives them the thought that they could be a college basketball player. I could go to college one day. So, I think that’s really big that we continue to have this.”
